I noticed that pricing for the 2016 Models has quite the disparity. When converted to USD, the Spark 1LT CVT is $12,055 in Canada, and $16,660 in the USA. That is crazy to me. If the Spark 1LT CVT cost $12,055 in the USA, I would already own it. I feel like GM is just screwing America on this one. And this is coming from a former Spark owner.

Great minds think alike. I ran my 2013 Spark with Stock All Seasons, and about 20k in swapped out for Nokian WRG3s as well. Fuel mileage is still good, and that thing is a beast in the snow.

I had a spark plug foul at 38k. Granted, that was due to the PCV valve issue. I had the plugs replaced and like 6 months later the PCV Valve recall came out.

Anyone have any good solutions to this one? I assume its just a stupid little electrical gremlin causing it. I know if I bring it to the dealer I'm going to get charged a million bucks for them to not know the problem, replace all of the airbags, and still get the warning light coming on.

Same issue for me back in February. At 40k on it, the engine ran a bit iffy. Next morning tried to start it and it wouldn't run. Then it cleared itself up on its own. Brought it to the dealer, had misfires and #4 plug was spent. Seeing as I had one of the first Sparks, and put a ton of miles on it, had to spend $160 to get it fixed at the time. Can't wait to get my money back.

In February, at just over 40,000 miles, my Spark started misfiring and kicked the CEL on. I brought it to the dealer, and they blamed me for mistreating it - saying I must be using Dry Gas. Now, two things that drive me crazy...1) I don't mistreat my car. 2) my family has owned gas stations for over 100 years. Did they honestly think I'd put dry gas in there when the ethanol are does the job? Long story short, I spent $160 (had them replace all the plugs because they couldn't identify the problem outside of blaming me). Now I have to get GM to pay me back. Its frustrating.
