  1. I have had AC issues since I bought my 2013 Spark in September 2012. I had the car in within the 1st month, I have had every part of the AC replaced from the compressor 2 times, the evaporater, all the filters, and some dryer (it is in the dashboard and they had to replace that because they dented it). I have had the harness replaced. I am picking the car up today, this is the 5th time it has been in for the AC. They are telling me that the air is coming out at 61 degrees. I live in Oklahoma, you have to have AC, it is supposed to be 100 degrees today. I think this should be a good test. Lets
  2. This was conversation I had directly with the GM complaint line 866-790-5700 when you call there, they assign you a case number and worker, and their job is to get the problems solved. She said that any dealer who states they cannot fix an item, and another does, is in violation of the agreement of the warranty. They are responsible to fix the car, or report it to GM and non repairable. At that time GM will step in, get the car to another dealer and see if it truly is non-repairable. If it is, they will have to "buy it back", however, if it is repairable, they look into why the 1st dealership
  3. Well, GM had me take my 2013 Spark to a different Chevy dealer to see what they could do. The got the car at 8am 5/27/14 and by 330pm 5/27/14 they were calling to tell me that the compression in cylinder 2 was only 80 psi and should be around 150 psi and that GM told them to replace the engine. GM is going to go after the 1st dealer for breech of warranty by stating that the car was not fixable. We'll see what happens, the engine had to be ordered. I was given a 2014 Chevy Cruze LTZ to drive while it is in the shop. I hope this works and I will keep you all posted.
  4. I appreciate that. If they were trying to fix the "misfire" I wouldn't have such a bad opinion, but when you tell me that you can see all the misfires but yet you cannot do anything to fix just because you can not duplicate it, doesn't make any sense. I feel I am getting the run around because I am female.
  5. I had my Spark in for some warranty work, the horn, windshield washer & radio volume controls were not working. They said there was circuit problems and the fuses were blown (had car for 18 months) while there they were also doing recall work on the ac harness (the ac has been worked on 3 times before this). They called and said the car was ready. When I got there the car was brought around to me, nothing was said to me but when I got in the car and was leaving, the RPM's went up to 4K and I was only going 20 mph. I had my Spark in for horn not working, volume controls on the steering wheel not working and windshield washer not working (all fixed under warranty) there was also a recall on the harness around the air condiitioner (ac has been worked on a total of 4 time in 18 months, they brought the car around to me, I get in and at 20 miles an hour the RPM go up over 4000, I brought the car right back so they could see.
